Green seems to be the way forward at the moment, with the changes in the environment we are expected to have to make some big changes. Oil price are expected to increase slowly and slowly and with an estimate currently of about 42 years until oil is depleted we can only expect the value to increase. Green energy is very important for the progression of our race so it is important that people tag on to the idea and try and make it the mainstream attraction which drives the economy forward.

Green energy is basically energy which is produced from a clean source which does not damage our environment. So what forms are there? Well, there is wind power, hydro power and many more innovations. These can all produce electricity, but unfortunately they are not strong producers of electricity and are not the biggest of contributors to delivering our overall needs as a society. Oil and natural gas are the biggest contributors to making our society what it is, but these fuels are going to run out and we cannot continue to use them as they are causing not only the environment a lot of harm but also our society too.

We are already seeing new innovations to improve our current situation; we are seeing hybrid vehicles entering the economy and becoming more and more popular. Since it is this sort of technology which is going to take us through this crisis we are going to have to switch completely and avoid using previous types of car which are dependent fully on oil.

But it is not just cars and vehicles that are tagging onto the green band wagon, we are seeing many companies improving their products as well as technology so that they use less power and less packaging to cut back. This is good however it is not enough if you consider the current situation, the economy is growing as well as the world population so you have to consider that as the population grows, the economy grows. It is quite dangerous to see how rapidly all this change is coming into place.

The overall effect of changing to green will have a fairly good impact on what the outcome will be when we do run out of oil. By doing nothing we will make the impact much worse, but by chipping in and contributing we can ensure that the impact is less damaging to not only the economy but us as human beings.

Green is taking over and it is best if you support the idea and buy things that are clean and do not pollute the environment too much because if we all support a greener market we will hopefully see a better economy as a result, there will still be some damaging effects but their overall impact will not be as bad if we get used to green technology and materials. So instead of using your unclean products, switch to a greener lifestyle, it is well worth the effort.
